Free Keyword Rank Checker

Enter a domain and a keyword and see exactly where it ranks in Google — the position, the URL that ranks, and what it means, checked live against the top 100 (US, desktop).

What a rank check actually measures

Your keyword ranking is the position your page holds on Google's organic results for a given search term — #1 is the first result under the ads, #10 is the bottom of page one, #11 starts page two. It is the single clearest signal of whether the work you put into a page is reaching searchers: almost all clicks go to page one, and the top three take the lion's share.

This checker asks Google the same question a searcher does — “what ranks for this keyword?” — from a clean, un-personalized session, then finds your domain in the results. That matters because the position you see while logged in and searching from your own office is skewed by your history and location. A neutral check is closer to the truth.

How to read the result

  • Position 1–3 — you own the query. Protect it and mine the related terms.
  • Position 4–10 — page one, but there is real click-share to gain above you.
  • Position 11–20 — page two: the classic “so close” zone where a focused push often pays off fastest.
  • Not in the top 100 — Google does not yet see your page as an answer for this term, or a different URL of yours is competing. Check the exact phrase and the page you expect to rank.

Questions

Which Google does this check?

Google United States, in English, on desktop, scanning the top 100 organic results. It ignores ads and map packs and reports the organic position only.

Why does my position differ from what I see?

Google personalizes results by your search history, location and device. This tool runs a clean check, so it usually reflects the ranking a first-time searcher would get rather than your own logged-in view.

How often can I check?

As often as you like within a fair per-minute and per-day limit. Repeat checks of the same domain and keyword are served from a short cache, so they are instant and do not burn the daily allowance.

One ranking is a data point. The trend is the story.

Knowing you sit at #7 is useful. Knowing which pages are slipping, which keywords are within reach, and what to do next is the job. Itto is an AI SEO agent: give it a domain and it pulls live search data, crawls the site, and answers like an analyst — cited, caveated, with the next move ready.
